A Union Bank Debit MasterCard is a convenient, inexpensive and rewarding way to pay for purchases. Your UB Debit MasterCard can be used anywhere MasterCard is accepted. Purchase amounts are deducted from your Union Bank checking account electronically. Transactions may either be signature-based (earns ScoreCard Rewards) or made by entering your Personal Identification Number (PIN). Either choice at checkout results in a deduction from your checking account.
This pay-as-you-go option holds none of the unpleasant surprises a monthly credit card bill can bring. There are no annual or monthly fees either. You can track purchases with receipts from the register or review your itemized monthly checking statement or see your transactions online almost instantly with online banking.
Your UB Debit MasterCard also gives you access to cash through any ATM displaying the PLUS®, NYCE® or MasterCard™ logos. You get free transactions at over 25 ATMs throughout Vermont—anywhere you see the VINA™ network logo.
