Transactions made with your Union Bank MasterCard Debit/ATM Card

Beginning March 1, 2011, when making transactions with your Union Bank MasterCard Debit/ATM card these transactions will immediately update the balance of your Union Bank account that is tied to your card. If you authorize payments, your account will have a “Pre-Authorization” for a period of time based on the type of transaction.

For an example, if you purchase gas “at the pump” in the amount of $33.00, this amount will be immediately reflected as a reduction in your available balance. If you use your Mastercard Debit/ATM card for reserving lodging or renting a car, your available balance may be reduced before the actual charges are completed.

Union Bank is not responsible if transactions are not authorized while there are pending transactions on your account.

Deposits and withdrawals at Union Bank’s ATMs or branches will be posted immediately to your account.
